Ward 4 / Above Ground Rescue / 8000 Lincoln Ave. / RIV Incident #18-017737  The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a report of an above ground rescue at the Corona-College Heights Citrus Packing Plant at 8000 Lincoln Avenue.  Upon arrival, Firefighters discovered a male in his 20's that had fallen on a conveyor belt while performing maintenance. The injured patient was approximately 10' above the ground. Firefighters shut down the conveyor system to ensure it would not knock the patient off the conveyor belt. Firefighters treated the patient and then lowered him to the ground using a fire ground ladder as a slide, and a rope system to bring the injured male off the conveyor belt and down to the waiting AMR Ambulance crew. The patient was transported to a local area hospital in moderate condition.Information Fact Sheet:https://www.riversideca.gov/fire/pio/process?action=viewIncident&id=5142Â
