Register Now: Riverside Ending Homelessness Fund’s 5K Walk to End Homelessness

Published: 03/22/2018

REGISTER NOW for the Riverside Ending Homelessness Fund’s 5K Walk to End Homelessness will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Fairmount Park, located at 2601 Fairmount Blvd., Riverside, CA.

The goal is to raise $35,000 dollars to provide individuals and families the items necessary to transition out of homelessness into permanent housing and obtain employment. Thanks to federal and state funded programs, some of these needs can be met, but often times, many of the most obvious needs are excluded like: refrigerators, beds, school text books and supplies, fees for testing and licensing, tools of the trade, work boots, tape measures, or kitchen tools for culinary occupations. In order to meet this goal,  sponsorships from local businesses and support from individual community members are not only appreciated but extremely necessary.
