Measure Z

Public Works

Public Works - Measure Z Residents may notice some new signs throughout the City thanking Riverside voters for passing Measure Z.  Measure Z is a 1% sales tax passed by voters to help restore prior service cuts to public safety (police and fire), facility maintenance, tree trimming and street paving – to name a few.

Public Works - Measure Z The “Funded by Measure Z” signs are just one way the City is communicating to residents how their Measure Z tax dollars are being spent.  When a City crew or City contractor is working on a project funded with Measure Z (like street paving, library improvements or tree trimming), a resident will see a sign like one of these made by the City Public Works Department’s own sign crew.
